CONCRETE CURBING AND ASPHALT CART PATHS

November 7, 2008

As the calendar turns into November local golf courses will be about to close another chapter of a playing season.  But before the book is written on 2008, courses are already preparing for 2009.  Usual fall wrap-up work includes picking up markers and blowing out irrigation systems.  Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor is another story.

The club is beginning major renovations in preparation for 2009.  Projects already completed include the addition of 310’ of concrete curbing along various cart paths and 7,600 square feet of new asphalt paving to replace all existing stone cart paths.  Both projects are a proof of concept test for further additions next year.  All these actions are intended to maintain Ravenwood’s natural beauty and enhance the pace of play on the course.

Several additional projects are planned this off-season to make 2009 a better experience for golfers and event participants.  Ravenwood Golf Club is frequented by golfers for outing events and 1-3 day golf excursions.  Ravenwood Golf Club is the ideal location to have your golf outing, banquet, and wedding.
